Apache Veterinary Clinic

I took my dog in on an emergency basis. He was treated, at high cost desperate to get a him better I paid and still ended up back the following day to have him put down. I paid for a paw print and never heard back from this office. I won’t be bringing another animal back here nor would I recommend this place.

Excellent experience we walked right in no waiting staff was incredible did the wellness check right in front of us trimmed my pugs nails we where done in 20 minutes definitely my dogs new vet thank you for a great experience

My cat was seen at this clinic three times, the first visit went smoothly. Months later, my cat started throwing up all night, started gagging after there was nothing left and had this clear slime coming from her rectum. We paid extra for a same day appointment where they ran tests and said everything was fine and sent her home. By the next morning she was worse, so we again paid extra for a same day appointment. They told us they had noticed the gagging and the clear slime yesterday but because the test showed nothing they weren’t concerned and sent us home again. A few hours later, while I was at work, I get a call from my mom that my cat was dying or already gone. I rush home and immediately start taking her to the hospital, before leaving I heard her last little squeak meow thing she always did while her eyes start dilating. I know what that means but I still held out hope that the hospital could do something but unfortunately there was nothing they could do. We were never certain how old she was when we first got her but at this time she was at most 6-8 years old and should have had plenty of time left. I may be very young but I have to say holding one of my best friends stiffening body for hours as we went somewhere to bury her has to be one of the worst thing I’ll ever go through. I understand animals can decline quickly and that normal test doesn’t show everything, and I also want to believe this clinic did everything they could. But it is incredibly painful spending a significant amount of money, as a broke college student, only for my baby to pass a few after her being sent home twice. I will always wonder if there something more I could have done or the clinic could have done for my baby.

We genuinely love Apache Trail Vet. Dr. Sontineni always discusses what is required, what is optional, and what is truly unnecessary. This allows pet parents to make informed decisions. It is never about the upsell, it is about what is right for your and your pet. There is never the pressure to make a decision on the spot; unless urgent, we always have the chance to think through our decision. I like getting into the medical weeds and the doctor freely shares lab work and imaging. I feel like my concerns matter, as I've known our little monsters for most of their lives. Nothing is more reassuring than watching our pets comfortable in the arms of the staff.

I wanted to take my doggy here but but the fact you pay $55 to an appointment and can't make it. Even thought its more then 24 hrs before my appointment. They didnt even care. Times are so rough. I had to take him to a hospital. So thanks for not helping me out.
