I was worried about taking my dog to a vet who had not known him. We travel a lot and his vet is in another state. I read the reviews and the older ones were not so great. I am.so impressed with the service. We were able to get all of our questions answered. They spent all the time we needed and we were not rushed. They did not try to convince to get services we did not need or want. Most importantly they called me the next day just to check on him and see if we had any questions that we may have forgotten. I am extremely impressed with their services and care.

I really want to give them 5 stars, but to just to walk into the door to weigh your dog and speak to someone it’s $84. That doesn’t get you anything else, other than in the door. Then if you do have any concerns or issues everything is more. Taking your dog in has gotten to be so expensive and it’s really a shame. It’s unfortunate that it feels like all they care about is the money aspect rather than your pets well being. When they request you to come back for a follow up appt it’s full price. There’s no break or discount, just another $84 and then whatever tests need to be run. An ear infection cost $280 in one visit. I’m sorry, but that’s ridiculous. That’s more than I have ever spent on any dr appt for myself. They are a great group, but so expensive.

On my second puppy with Power Road Animal Hospital. I moved to Mesa 4 years ago from California with my 9-year old Pit/Jack Russel mix and I was very happy with the care we received all the way through end-of-life. Excellent people, always helpful and accommodating. I've already had my first visit with my 16 month old female Pit/Australian Shepard mix. We are happy as can be.
